Tunthol

Tunthol's surface is a barren wasteland with few feautures. Below the surface, however, is a network of caverns where a high-technology society dwells. The people their were so skilled in the sciences that they had surpassed their neighbors, though at the cost of the land above. Retreating underground, they continued with more caution, and made their greatest discovery: artificial intelligence. Though expensive, and without the full range of emotion and creativity available to a living being, the artificial minds were still an astonishing breakthrough. So astonishing, in fact, that it caught the attention of Tunthol's guardian spirit Uur. She feared that what the people might eventually accomplish could exceed her, and seized control of all machines. Using this technology, she "organized" the people, controlling them.

While reports and old records from Tunthol exist, none have visited recently, nor is their any geographical information. There is mention of a few different points in records, including a mountain called Tuuna and a place called the "Field of Needles".

Uur
The guardian spirit of Tunthol and spirit of fire, Uur enslaved the people and controls them with their own machines. She has none of the traits usually associated with fire, and is actually very much like a machine herself. Her sensibility may have initially guided the people in their technological developments.
